The sample arrived soon after placing the order but it arrived with a couple of corners broken off. This is a pressed wood particle product and I was worried about it absorbing water (in my kitchen), so I put one of the pieces in a cup of water for more than a day. It did not swell at all.

This product looks a little cheap and artificial, so I won't be buying it.
